I have family in North Wales (sorry).
Denbigh,Trefnant area. Recently started flying a Hustler Mk 3 trainer and am looking to
upgrade to a mid wing sport, fun flyer.

Also found a SIG site and have found
tons of information on a Mid Star 40 which might be ideal for me to build as I prefere
building than quickly putting together an ARF kit.
The site looks good and I might even get a
chance to visit as I am planning a trip tothe UK sometime next year (When the aussie
dollar improves on the market.
I am a member of the TRACS Club in Townsville
and we mainly fly
on Sunday mornings.
Anyway, nice to catch up with some one from the old country and good job on the site

Comments: Very interested in history of
Llandow airfield. Where did you get the reference to site being used from June 1937? I
have seen such a reference before but suspect its authenticity. Other than two Avro Tutors
614 Sqn at Cardiff Airport (Pengam Moors) did not receive any aircraft until early 1938.
Personally I think it very doubtful that the sqn (which in 1936 consisted of two pilots
and little else) would have had a need for a grass strip so far from home. Comments very
welcome. Enjoyed reading your site!

My hat is off to the designers of this site.
My wife and I are planning to visit the UK in July and August, 1998. We will be on tour there for 27 days. England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. We would like to visit the flying field and visit with some of the members.
I have been modeling for 45 years and am a member of the Perry R.C. Flyers of Perry, Georgia, a club chartered in 1994. We starting with 6 members and have grown to over 40. Our Activities include; general flying, sport flying, regular scheduled Pylon races, and two annual open fly-ins. Looking forward to hearing from member of your group.
